Question:

172 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will give details of Ireland's milk quota from the time of the allocation of the original quota in 1983 and any alterations to date; and if he will give comparative figures for the other EC member countries.

Ireland's milk quota in 1984-85, the first year of the milk quota system, was 5,583,000 tonnes. This quota was changed as follows:
