Vol. 439 No. 1

Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Kirk — the need for the Minister for Justice to intervene in view of the decision of the President of the Circuit Court to terminate Circuit Court sittings in Drogheda, County Louth; (2) Deputy Deenihan — the decision to review the cases of 3,500 bachelors aged over 75 years who are in receipt of non-contributory old age pension.

The matter raised by Deputy Deenihan is considered to be in order and has been selected accordingly.
