Question:52 Miss Harney asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the funding, if any, that has been allocated by the Office of Public Works for works at the Rock of Dunamase.

The Rock of Dunamase has been included by me on the provincial list of projects to be funded from Structural Funds during the period 1994-99. While no total allocation has yet been finalised, a sum of £50,000 has been provisionally included in the Office of Public Works work programme for 1994 for archaeological excavation works at this monument.
