Vol. 439 No. 3

Written Answers. - Killester (Dublin) School.

Seán Haughey

Question:

136 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the five prefabricated rooms at St. Mary's Holy Faith Secondary School, Killester, Dublin 5, are now over 20 years old, in a very poor condition and no longer capable of being further repaired; if she will make adequate funding available to extend this school or replace the prefabs; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The condition of the five prefabricated classrooms at St. Mary's Holy Faith Secondary School, Killester has been brought to the attention of my Department by the school authorities. However, pending receipt of the completed application form necessary to enable the Department to assess the accommodation requirements of the school a decision cannot be conveyed to the school authorities.

The matter will be fully considered on its receipt.
