Question:164 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason for the delay in processing registration of title for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.
Written Answers. - Registration of Title.
The land in question formed part of the Bingham Estate, County Mayo. A vesting order in respect of this land was lodged in the Land Registry in 1984. Due to a legal difficulty which later arose, a judicial amending order and a resurveying of the land became necessary. The judicial amending order has been completed and the survey is currently underway. It is expected that the survey will be finalised shortly.
