Question:167 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason an application for the sale of sheep quota has not been sanctioned for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.
Written Answers. - Sheep Quota.
Applications to transfer or lease ewe premium rights for the 1994 marketing year will be processed when payments under the final instalment of the 1993 ewe premium scheme have been made. These payments are expected to commence before the end of this month.
The application received from the person named to transfer ewe premium rights will then be processed and if found in order approval will issue in due course.
