Question:

89 Mr. Kenneally asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the position in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Waterford who applied for additional quota to bring him up to the 25,000 gallon limit; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There is no record in my Department of an application by the person named for additional milk quota. Special forms are available for applications on grounds of hardship, to the milk quota appeals tribunal. I have arranged for a form to be issued in this case.
