117 Mr. Morley asked the Minister for Health if he will provide the necessary capital to build a home for the elderly at Ballinrobe, County Mayo, which in its category is a priority of the Western Health Board for some years now.
The Western Health Board regards the provision of a home for the elderly in Ballinrobe, County Mayo as an important element of their community care programme. Before approval can be given to this development I must take into account the internal priorities of the Western Health Board and competing demands for capital funding from the other health boards.
