99 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the number of documents withheld from the national archives by his Department since the National Archives Act; the reason documents were withheld; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

My Department has, according to its records, withheld a total of 112 files or parts thereof in accordance with section 8 of the National Archives Act, 1986.

These files and extracts have been withheld because they are either confidential personnel files or in regular administrative use in my Department.
