Question:100 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason for the delay in the payment of 1993 headage to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.

Payment in this case was delayed because the applicant declared more cows then he actually had. This required further investigation and the situation has now been sorted out. His application is being processed for payment and any payment due will be made shortly.
