The number of full-time teaching posts in primary schools in June, 1993 was 20,809 and in November, 1993 was 20,833.
The total number of wholetime posts in post-primary schools in June, 1993 was 19,679.
In November, 1993 the number of whole time posts in secondary and community-comprehensive schools was 15,356. Details of the position in vocational schools in November, 1993 are not readily available.
