223 Mrs. Doyle asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry whether he will be consulting with the Racing Club of Ireland in relation to a nomination to the new Racing Authority; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I am aware of the Racing Club of Ireland's views on the composition of the new Racing Authority. Representatives from the club as well as other interests have been received. The Bill has already been circulated to Deputies and there will be an opportunity to have its provisions fully discussed in the Dáil.
