Vol. 440 No. 8

Written Answers. - Purchase of County Cork Property.

Paul Bradford

Question:

46 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Finance if the Office of Public Works has received representations concerning the possible purchase of a property (details supplied) in County Cork; the present state of negotiations in this regard; if the purchase will proceed; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Office of Public Works are not involved at present in negotiations for the purchase of property at the location referred to. The local community association has been involved in negotiations for the purchase of a property adjacent to the castle. I understand that the association will be formally contacting the office on this matter shortly.
