163 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health when orthodontic treatment will be given in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare who was diagnosed as being in need of such treatment several years ago; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

As the provision of orthodontic treatment for eligible children in County Kildare is the responsibility of the Eastern Health Board in the first instance, I have referred this matter to the chief executive officer of the Eastern Health Board for his immediate attention and direct reply to you.
