114 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for the Environment when a decision will be made in respect of sanction, on the basis of contract documents, for the Richmond group water scheme, Crossmolina, County Mayo, documents for which have been lodged with his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Design data and plans for the renewal of this scheme are currently under examination in my Department, to whom Mayo County Council have also submitted certain proposed modifications. A decision will be communicated to the group as soon as possible.
