50 Mr. Creed asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs when he intends to reappoint the cultural relations committee of his Department in view of the fact that the absence of this committee is causing difficulty and inconvenience to the arts community and other organisations in finalising commitments to foreign travel.

I have invited a number of people involved in the cultural and artistic life of the country to serve on the Cultural Relations Committee for 1994-1995. The membership of the new committee will be announced very shortly.
