83 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for the Environment if he will reply to a letter from Deputy Gay Mitchell of 29 March 1994 concerning Parliamentary Question No. 80 of 23 February 1994, particularly in view of a letter (details supplied) sent to Deputy Gay Mitchell by Dublin Corporation on 21 February 1994.

A reply has issued to the Deputy confirming that local authorities were requested on 21 March 1994 not to increase, for the appropriate period, the differential rents of the tenants whose income has increased as a result of participation in the back-to-work allowance scheme.
