Question:76 Mr. D. McDowell asked the Minister for Education if her Department will fund 50 per cent of the projected cost of employing four youth Arts Officers on the project entitled Making Youth Arts Work.

My Department has agreed to co-fund with the Arts Council the four arts development officer posts recommended in the Making Youth Arts Work report and has recently written to the organisations involved.
The arrangements will operate until 30 April, 1995, when the entire project will be reviewed and evaluated before any decision is taken on further funding.
