Vol. 443 No. 1

Written Answers. - Dalkey (Dublin) School Buildings.

Eamon Gilmore

Question:

144 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Education if a recent consultation has taken place between representatives of the Department of Education and the Board of Management of St. Patrick's School, Dalkey, County Dublin, concerning that school's request for new school buildings; and when the school will be provided with the buildings which it is seeking.

Consultations have taken place recently between officials of my Department and the authorities of St. Patrick's School, Dalkey, in regard to the school's request for new buildings. Revised plans for a major scheme have just now been submitted by the school authorities and a meeting for further discussion has already been arranged. It is not possible at this stage to say when a building project if approved, will be included in the national schools capital programme.
