Vol. 443 No. 7

Written Answers. - Financial Assistance for Dublin School.

Gay Mitchell

Question:

237 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education if she will provide financial assistance for a school (details supplied) in Dublin 8 so that additional facilities can be provided for disabled persons wishing to take courses at this school such as a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 who will have to miss two subjects in a further education course for women in view of the fact that this person is disabled and will not be able to access the upstairs part of the school.

No application has been received in my Department from City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee for grant assistance for conversion work at the school in question. Any application received in this regard will be given careful consideration.
