Vol. 443 No. 7

Written Answers. - Dundalk (Louth) Swimming Pool.

Michael Bell

Question:

103 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for the Environment if he will favourably consider a proposal from Dundalk Urban District Council, County Louth for the provision of a swimming pool complex in Dundalk, the largest provincial town in Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

In August 1992, my Department conveyed approval in principle to Dundalk Urban District Council's outline proposals to build a swimming pool. The submission by the council of detailed design documentation is awaited.
