104 Mr. Gallagher (Laoighis-Offaly) asked the Minister for the Environment if he will give details of the cost to Laois and Offaly County Councils to enter the new CAMP centralised call-out system for emergencies; the estimated cost for each subsequent year; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The capital cost of this project is being met in full by State grants and no part of that cost falls on the local authorities concerned. The share of the running costs to be borne by each is a matter for agreement between the participating authorities.
