The application of the person named for premium under the 1993 suckler cow scheme is being processed at present and any payment due will issue shortly.

Question:87 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason for the delay in issuing the balance of payment to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford in respect of suckler cow, beef premia and disadvantaged area payments; and when payment will issue.
The person named was paid the balance of his June 1993 special beef premium on 27 April 1994 and his 1993 suckler cow premium on 11 June 1994. He was paid an advance of his 1993 cattle headage grant on 29 November 1993. This application is being processed further at present and any balance due will be paid in the near future.

Question:88 Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when all outstanding cattle grants for 1993 will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.
The person named was paid the balance of his 1993 suckler cow premium on 26 May 1994. He was paid his 1993 cattle headage grant on 27 May 1994 and his 1993 extensification premium on 28 May 1994. No other cattle grants are due to the person named.
