64 Mr. H. Byrne asked the Minister for Education if she will give details of the plans for electrical and heating works at Knockmullen national school, New Ross, County Wexford; the timetable for such works; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
My Department has sanctioned a grant in respect of the provision of a staffroom at St. Joseph's primary school, New Ross, County Wexford, which will also include the requisite electrical and heating works. The plans for these elements of the project have not yet been completed, but this will not affect progress on the remainder of the scheme, the contract for which I understand will shortly be placed by the school authorities.
