121 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Education whether a 7/8 grant will be sanctioned for a special school (details supplied) in County Wexford rather than the original grant of £17,000 in view of the need for better facilities than the prefabricated room; and if she will obtain the necessary increased allocation in this regard.

The request by the Board of Management of the school referred to by the Deputy for an increase in the level of grant-aid sanctioned for this project is under consideration in my Department and a decision in the matter will be conveyed to the school authorities at the earliest possible date.
