Vol. 446 No. 3

Written Answers. - Dublin School Yard Protection.

Tony Gregory

Question:

309 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education the assistance, if any, her Department can give to a school (details supplied) in County Dublin to provide adequate protection of the school yard in view of the problems encountered by staff and children; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2157/94]

An application for the refurbishment on the school yard was received in my Department within the past few days. My Department's professional advisers have been requested for a report on the matter. When this has been received and considered a decision on the provision of grant-aid will be conveyed to the school authorities.
