215 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for the Marine if he will have arrangements made to have a ladder provided on the Pier at Frenchport, Ballina, County Mayo, in view of the inconvenience caused to fishermen disembarking from boats or unloading catches; if he will have such work carried out forthwith; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I would advise the Deputy that responsibility for the day to day operation, management and maintenance of Frenchport pier is a matter for Mayo County Council. I will arrange, however, to have the Deputy's concerns conveyed to the county council.
