Question:165 Ms McManus asked the Minister for the Environment the rate support grant that was paid to each local authority for each of the years 1992, 1993 and 1994; and the rate support grant that will be paid to each local authority for 1995. [2990/94]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 164 and 165 together.
Rate support grant allocations are not determined by reference to population levels. The amount paid to each local authority in rate support grant in 1992, and the 1994 allocations, are set out in the following tables. The information in respect of 1993 is set out in the reply to Question No. 199 of 25 October 1994. I hope to notify local authorities generally of their rate support grant allocations for 1995 in the near future.
