Vol. 448 No. 3

Written Answers. - Status of People with Disabilities Report.

Willie O'Dea

Question:

82 Mr. O'Dea asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform when he expects to receive the report on the status of people with disabilities; and his timetable for action on the recommendations of the report. [1952/95]

It is anticipated that the Commission on the Status of People with Disabilities will submit its report within the next 12 months. Pending receipt of the report, and its consideration by the Government, it is not possible to draw up a timetable for action on the recommendations contained in it.
