Vol. 448 No. 4

Written Answers. - Stock Tax Relief.

Liam Aylward

Question:

83 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Finance if he will make provision in the 1995 budget to allow the profits from a livestock enterprise be assessed for tax only when the animals are sold; that the 110 per cent stock relief be reintroduced or alternatively the nil standard value system by provided for as an option to individual farmers; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2219/95]

The Deputy will appreciate that it would be inappropriate of me to give any indication of my taxation proposals in advance of the budget.
