35 Kathleen Lynch asked the Minister for Finance if he will provide funding to Údarás na Gaeltachta to provide for extra statutory or ex-gratia payments to former employees of Eadach Connemara Teoranta, Kilcar, County Donegal, who were made redundant in view of the company's liquidation several years ago. I am advised by the Attorney General that Údarás na Gaeltachta has neither express nor implied power to make extra-statutory redundancy payments on an ex-gratia basis, whether with my consent or otherwise.
