There are no publications produced directly under the auspices of this Department. There are two publications, An Cosantóir and Connect which are published by the Defence Forces public relations section. These are journals of general military interest, and contain the disclaimer that `the fact that an article appears in this magazine does not indicate official approval of the views expressed by the author'.
They are distributed monthly and have a circulation of 7,000 approximately.
