Question:91 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education if she will meet the executive of the national parents council at the earliest possible date. [4647/95]
Written Answers. - National Parents' Council Meeting.
Since my reappointment as Minister for Education in December last I have committed myself to a large number of meetings with a variety of organisations. I met a delegation from the national parents' council (Post Primary) on 20 January 1995 and with a delegation of the national parents' council (Primary) on 2 February last.
I am not aware of any recent requests from either councils for a meeting with me.
I have had many successful and productive meetings with these bodies and I look forward to regular contact with them including attending their annual conferences.
