Question:

42 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for the Environment the total number of petrol outlets selling unleaded petrol; and the amount of unleaded petrol sold as a percentage of total petrol sales at retail outlets. [3159/95]

The estimated total number of outlets at present selling unleaded petrol is 2,358, representing some 82 per cent of all outlets. For the six months ending in December 1994, the market share for unleaded averaged just over 50 per cent.
