Kitt asked the Minister for Education if she will sanction funding for the replacement of windows for Tuam Vocational School as part of the overall refurbishment works application to County Galway Vocational Education Committee; and if she will make a statement on the question of other refurbishment works required at this school. The replacement of windows at Tuam Vocational School and indeed the carrying out of other refurbishment works is a matter in the first instance for County Galway Vocational Education Committee.
No request or application has been received from the vocational education committee under either heading. On receipt of any such application it will be considered in the context of available resources.
