Vol. 451 No. 1

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Seamus Brennan

Question:

37 Mr. S. Brennan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will review the application for a new house grant by persons (details supplied) in Dublin 16 in view of the fact that the applicants lost over £6,000 sterling on the sale of a house in which they lived while in England. [6233/95]

Under the conditions of the scheme, a new house grant cannot be allowed in a case in which the applicants previously purchased another house for their own occupation.
