79 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the State financing and equity given to Shannon Aerospace since its commencement; the channel for such funding; the financial, commercial and employment targets which have been set for this firm; and if these targets have been met. SFADCo has provided State funding of £22.956 million to the company in question. This funding comprised capital and training grants of £20 million and redeemable preference shares of £2.956 million. Current employment in this company is 700 compared with a target figure of 800. Financial and commercial targets are confidential; however, depressed market conditions have adversely affected the achievement of these targets.
