87 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Defence if he will financially facilitate the planned visit by the Band of the Western Command to the United Kingdom in June 1995, in view of the developing relationship between Ireland and the United Kingdom. [6704/95]
Acceptance by the Band of the Western Command of an invitation to perform at the 90th anniversary concert of the Kid-derminster Male Choir has been approved. The concert will take place in the Birmingham Symphony Hall on Saturday, 17 June 1995. The costs associated with the visit of the band to Birmingham will be met from the Defence Vote.
