88 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Defence the plans, if any, his Minister of State has to visit Custume Barracks, Athlone, County Westmeath on 3 April 1995; the purpose of this visit; the reason a Deputy (details supplied) has been invited to attend; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Defence (Mr. Coveney)

The Minister of State has no plans to visit Custume Barracks on 3 April 1995. The Deputy referred to in the Question requested permission to visit the barracks and in accordance with normal practice the request has been approved.
