Question:134 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice if she will have arrangements made to expedite the registration of lands (details supplied) in County Galway in the Land Registry. [6795/95]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this application for conversion of title, which was lodged in the Land Registry on 4 January 1994 has been the subject of ongoing correspondence between the Land Registry and the lands division of the Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry. I understand that the present position is that a reply is awaited to a letter of 1 March 1995 from the Land Registry to the lands division of the Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry. I am further informed that this application will be processed as quickly as possible when a reply to this letter is received.

Question:135 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice if she will have arrangements made to expedite the registration of lands of a person (details supplied) in County Mayo in the Land Registry. [6798/95]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that there is no dealing pending on the folio referred to and that the person mentioned by the Deputy was registered as the owner of the folio in 1975. If the Deputy wishes me to pursue the matter further with the Land Registry, perhaps he could write to me with details as to the date of lodgment and the reference number of the dealing the person concerned has lodged with the Land Registry.
