Vol. 451 No. 5

Written Answers. - Orthodontic Treatment Waiting List.

Seamus Brennan

Question:

92 Mr. S. Brennan asked the Minister for Health the reason a person (details supplied) in Dublin 16 who has been on a priority list for orthodontic treatment for six months has been informed that he might not be called for treatment for another four to five years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6792/95]

Limerick East): As the provision of orthodontic treatment for children in the Dublin 16 area is the responsibility of the Eastern Health Board in the first instance, I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position and to reply to the Deputy in relation to this case as a matter of urgency.
