47 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the funding allocated in 1995 for the Arts Plan 1995 to 1997; the section of the plan which may be affected if the full identified funds of £19.5 million are not available in 1995; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The total funds allocated to An Chomhairle Ealaíon for 1995 is £16.25 million, an increase of some 22 per cent on its allocation for 1994. No decisions have as yet been taken by Government in relation to the funding levels sought by An Chomhairle Ealaíon for the years 1995 to 1997 in The Arts Plan 1995-97. It is a matter for An Chomhairle Ealaíon-The Arts Council to determine its revised priorities within the increased resources allocated including such resources as may arise following consideration by Government of The Arts Plan 1995-97.
