Before coming to the Order of Business I propose to deal with a notice of motion under Standing Order 30 from Deputy Mary O'Rourke. I call on the Deputy to state the matter of which she has given me notice.
Request to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 30.
I wish to apply for the suspension of the Dáil under Standing Order 30 to discuss inaccurate and misleading information given to the House by the Minister for Enterprise and Employment in regard to Shannon Aerospace and the grave disquiet, now widespread, concerning the £35 million State investment and the viability of jobs at that company.
Having fully considered the matter I do not consider it to be one contemplated by the Standing Order in question. Therefore, I cannot grant leave to move the motion.
