75 Mr. B. Smith asked the Taoiseach when applications were invited for a position (details supplied) in County Cavan; the final date for receipt of applications; the number of eligible applications received by the closing date; the number of people interviewed; when the appointment will be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Applications for the position in question were invited by advertisements in the national newspapers on 10 and 11 November 1994, with a closing date of 2 December 1994. Interviews were held with all eligible candidates and an appointment was made with effect from 28 April 1995.
