Vol. 452 No. 6

Written Answers. - State Rental Costs.

Noel Ahern

Question:

35 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Finance the Government Departmental offices owned, leased or rented by the State; the approximate value of such property owned by the State; the annual rental-leasing charges paid; and the current policy when acquiring new offices in Dublin or on decentralisation. [8437/95]

The information sought in relation to the annual rental-leasing charges paid by the State and the policy for acquiring new offices was given in reply to Questions Nos. 23 and 43 of 5 April from Deputies O'Malley and O'Donnell, as reported in columns 1293-94 — of the Official Report.

The information sought in regard to the thousands of premises, countrywide, owned or leased by the State would run to many volumes but if the Deputy requires specific information in relation to a building or categories of buildings he might communicate with me and I will endeavour to provide the information sought.
