Vol. 452 No. 6

Written Answers. - Special Education Project.

Tony Gregory

Question:

50 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education the steps, if any, she is taking to place a person (details supplied) in Dublin 1 who is in a special education project at present in a second level school in September 1995, in view of commitments given to his mother and to Deputy Gregory by her officials. [8500/95]

It is normal practice to review the progress and future educational needs of all children attending the project in question. This review takes place towards the end of the school year. The future educational needs of the child in question, including the possibility of his being placed in a second level school, are currently being assessed.
