Vol. 452 No. 8

Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Molloy — the group water scheme in Ballycroy, County Mayo, which has been distributing contaminated water for the past three years; (2) Deputy Dermot Ahern — the need for an oral public inquiry in relation to applications under the Foreshore Act, 1933, relating to areas of the foreshore from Carlingford to Omeath, County Louth, which are currently before the Department of the Marine; (3) Deputy O'Dea — the need to encourage the management of Universal Management Limited, Shannon, County Clare, to accede to a request by staff to urgently refer the current dispute between staff and management to the Labour Relations Commission; (4) Deputy Dan Wallace — the excessive delays in having cases completed in the High Court.

Three of the matters raised are in order and have been selected for discussion accordingly. For the information of Members the matters will be taken in the following order: Deputies Molloy, Dan Wallace and Dermot Ahern.
