171 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the fact that there are long delays in issuing grant cheques for third level students from the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee; and the steps, if any, she intends taking to rectify the matter. The matter raised by the Deputy is being investigated by my Department, in consultation with the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee. I will inform the Deputy of the position as soon as the inquiries are completed.
