The entry fees for the years requested are as follows:

Examination entry fees increased by 310 per cent for the Intermediate/Junior and 300 per cent for the leaving certificate examinations in the period from 1980 to 1995. In percentage terms, the greatest increase, 170 per cent, occurred between 1980 and 1985. Figures from The Central Statistics Office indicate that inflation for the period from 1980 is 174 per cent.
