Vol. 453 No. 4

Written Answers. - Ferrybank (Waterford) Sewerage Scheme.

Liam Aylward

Question:

97 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for the Environment the provision, if any, that has been made in his Department for a sewerage scheme to service the people living on Belmount Road, Ferrybank, Waterford, including the people living in Kilkenny County Council area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9542/95]

An application has been received for a group sewerage scheme at Belmount Road. In the meantime, however, Kilkenny County Council has agreed to allow the group and a number of local residents to connect into the nearby public sewer. My Department is considering the application in the light of these new circumstances.
